The Continuation and The Scaffolding

Before the lunch break, we had to make sure we had successfully completed the widening of the trench and clearing of the lose material inside the trench. Due to the collective effort and the resilience of the team we were able to complete the task well before lunch.

Unfortunately we never got the opportunity to see the concrete strip footing being poured on the same day but we manage to get an idea of how it would have looked up because there was one site that had concrete already poured before we arrived on site.

We then got the opportunity to set up scaffolding on a different site. This task was mentally challenging as most of the team had ever gotten the chance to set up scaffolding before. The team took this as opportunity to learn and after getting an idea of how to do it we then all came together being led by Mikaeel who had used scaffolding before. It took time for the whole team to understand his when setting up the scaffolding however, we all had a chance to make contributions. We did make a mistake when we were setting up the scaffolding however, we were limited on time, therefore, we fixed it the following day.
